The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the vertical strapping of coils on the circumference.

With the coil eye horizontal and parallel to the transport direction, the coil is conveyed from the conveyor system to the area of ​​the strapping machine and centered.

The lance mounted below closes the strip guide around the coil. The strapping is guided through the strap channel and the strapping unit mounted on the side moves to the coil surface to form the seal.

To apply further strapping, the coil is either repositioned in the strapping machine by the coil conveyor system (stationary version) or the strapping machine itself moves to the next strapping position (movable version). A double-head version is available for applying 2 straps at the same time.

TITAN offers these strapping machines with different strapping units for different types of closures and strap qualities.

In addition, coil savers can be attached during the strapping process. A marker or label feeder can be integrated to mark the coils.
