QUALITY FILTRATION FOR POWER PLANTS:
Valmet Filter Bags provide extended life time in demanding conditions. The bags are available for medium and high temperature applications. The needle felt structure of Valmet Filter Bags is based on different temperature resistant polymers stapled to a scrim support fabric using needling technology. Different raw materials can be used alone or combined together. The felt gets a special chemical treatment which consists of PTFE impregnation with high solids content.

Applications:
The bags are divided into two different groups depending on their temperature resistance:
Temperatures up to 180ºC
- Polyphenylen sulfide (PPS)
Temperatures up to 250ºC
- Polyimide (P84®*)
- Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE)

The bag's felt structure is based on different temperature resistant polymers stapled as a scrim support fabric using needling technology. Different raw materials can be used alone or combined together. The felt can be given a surface treatment consisting of water and oil repellant.

- Temperatures (up to 210°C)
- 100% Meta aramid (scrim and batt) - Valmet Filter Bag MT
- Temperatures (up to 170°C)
- Blend of fibers in a meta aramid scrim
